home alone

Joe has left the building. As of an hour ago, he's on his way to Toronto to stay with his brother for a few days. It feels good and a little strange to have the house to ourselves right now. We'll be picking him up in Toronto on Sunday so we actually have the house to ourselves for the best part of three whole days. We've not made any plans for the weekend but I expect that much lazing around and vegging out will take place...afterall, it is our anniversary tomorrow.

One thing that made me smile today: see above! I almost can't believe that we actually have the house to ourselves!!
