This morning I heard about Hasil Adkin's death. My brother introduced me to Hasil's music many years ago. I never saw Hasil live. Years ago, a friend showed me a video from his appearance at Sleazefest in 1994. His performance, like his music, was raw and wild. His absence will be felt by many.

Rest in peace Hasil.
