home stretch

So on Friday, we finalized all of the stuff we needed to do at the bank. Our bank manager is terrific and we're really happy with the way everything has worked out. We have ended up with an interest rate that is about 1/2 of the rate we had on our current mortgage.

This morning, Mark was dropping off the mortgage stuff to our lawyer. All we have left to do is pop in there at some point and sign off on their paperwork and we should have the keys on Friday afternoon sometime.

By this time next week, hopefully, our kitchen will have been modified to fit our new appliances and I should have the painting well under way. Hopefully, with a little luck and a lot of organization, things won't fall colossally to shit next week!
