This particular song was originally released by The Beatles. It appeared on 1965's Rubber Soul and was primarily written by John Lennon. The version I'm sharing with you now was recorded by the legendary Johnny Cash for his American IV: The Man Comes Around album, which was released in 2002.
It's a beautiful song, and in recent years, I've found it impossible to listen to it without welling up. I'm doing that right now, which is why I'll keep this brief.
All these places had their moments
With lovers and friends, I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life, I've loved them all
