Our backyard is starting to fill up with water.
The bottom part of it is semi covered in water anyway. Mark's little veggie patch is submerged. Our directly-behind-us-over-the-fence neighbours seem to have a yard full of water. I noticed when I was out back with the dog this morning that about half of the snow in the yard disappeared overnight.
So far, our basement (touch wood veneer desk) remains bone dry.
I look forward to the day when the only water back there is in the pool. For the moment, I keep my fingers crossed that the winds keep blowing (it's crazy windy outside right now) and that things dry up. It's a mucky, watery mess out there.
Thanks a lot, winter.
