Happy Simcoe Day!

It's Simcoe day here in Ontario at least. I know that the reason for the civil holiday in August varies from province to province.

The sun has finally come out here. It's been rainy and humid all weekend. Now it's sunny and humid here, ugh! It was so hot and gross out yesterday that we hid out in the house, in the A/C. Today, we ventured out, had a nice breakfast at a neighbourhood diner and just got back from a drive in the country.

We set out in search of raspberries but we must have been too early for the road side stands or they're all taking the holiday too. Whichever the case, we're going to veg out for the afternoon and enjoy the rest of what's shaping up to have been a very relaxing weekend!
