The "crunchy" morning turned into a glorious (albeit chilly) autumn day. Big losers that we are, we stopped off at the "trendy" super-store supermarket on the way home to pick up some groceries and to stock up on Hallowe'en candy for next week. Yikes, 25 minutes in the lineup later and were both about ready to drop. At least the sun was still shining when we finally made it to the parking lot. Just in case you're in my neighbourhood next Thursday evening, we'll be shelling out Hershey or Nestle bars and Doritos.
