Because It's Tuesday - week of March 9

Hello everyone.

It's been quite a while since I've posted. Things have been busy and while I've continued to listen to music (always!!), I haven't felt super inspired to share any or write about it here.

Next week it'll have been a whole year since we were sent home. In some ways that seems crazy to me, how is it that I've not seen most of my friends in over a year? How did it happen that I have been able to be in BC for almost 6 months this year?

For most of the time, I really think that I've been okay. Recently, I'm starting to experience regular feelings of anxiety, something that I haven't had happen since the first few months after Mark's death. I have had moments of anxiety, a few periods of time which don't last for more than a few hours. This is different. It's always there and I'm not loving it.

So, while I deal with that and you all deal with the stuff that's happening to you right now, I'm going to try to post more regularly because I really do feel better when I do it.

As it's Tuesday today, I'm sharing a cover. It's an absolutely beautiful cover of John Prine's "Hello In There" performed by Roger Waters during quarantine.

Take care, be kind to yourself and hang in there everyone xo

You know that old trees just grow stronger
And old rivers grow wilder every day
Old people just grow lonesome
Waiting for someone to say, "Hello in there, hello"
